
Our Story
Chef Daniel Tefau is a culinary artist whose journey began in the heart of his family kitchen, where his mother, a proud native of Gambier Island in French Polynesia, introduced him to rich traditions of Tahitian cooking. As one of five children, he learned the value of family meals and the stories behind each dish. His culinary education took him to the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel and later to Lyon, the gastronomic capital of the world, where he mastered the art of French cuisine. Drawing from his unique blend of Polynesian and French influences, Chef Tefau is passionate about sharing the vibrant flavors of his island, inspired by the legends that celebrate the land's bountiful fruits and nourishment.
